TECHNICITY GTA

Join us for an exclusive half-day virtual event designed for municipal decision makers, private sector IT influencers, digital entrepreneurs interested in the public sector space, and individual businesses interested in the changing face of digital government.

Municipalities and the Power to Transform

Created as an interactive experience that combines live presentations, recorded panels, networking breakout rooms, and a luncheon Town Hall, Technicity GTA will explore the innovative digital strategies and tools used by the 25 Toronto area municipalities to drive efficiency, collaboration, and security internally while improving the way they interact with taxpayers.

Tune In on TECHNICITY-TV Platform

The virtual conference event will take place on ITWC’s proprietary TECHNICITY-TV, a platform that allows for the seamless integration of live and pre-recorded material. The platform also features live chat capabilities, the opportunity for downloadable assets and quizzes, and breakout rooms to facilitate networking opportunities.

Have your say at the Town Hall

The conference wraps up with a moderated Town Hall discussion that builds on the learning of the day. It will challenge the audience and participant leaders to describe the path forward and the required partnership to bring the promise of digital government at the local level to fruition.

There is no charge to qualified attendees thanks to corporate sponsorship, but pre-registration is mandatory to receive access to the platform, the session presentations, and the Town Hall discussion.

The remote worker is here to stay, but the use of collaborative technologies ranging from smartphones and teleconferencing to AI- powered systems are being embraced with varying degrees of confidence. How are municipalities dealing with the collaboration challenge? What platforms have been tried? What challenges (security) and opportunities (easier access to experts) have emerged as teams come together from remote locations? With video conference fatigue setting in, how do local governments move forward to truly collaborate, explore and govern in this new virtual space.
